Article marketing consists of a company’s promotion via informative materials that are directly related to the specifics of a business. This works as a form of cheap advertising on the Internet that opens many doors to the intelligent marketer: they make profit, attract more clients and increase sales. When it comes to developing this kind of exposure not everybody knows where to start. You will even consider the possibility of taking an article marketing course as a form of training to support your business efforts.
Carefully choose the training form because an article marketing course may easily hide a scam. You can learn about article marketing from many sources other than books, magazines, e-books and e-guides. Here is a clear example of how the system works. Let’s say that you sell fountain pens. You can target a market niche by writing valuable content on topics that people are interested in; examples of topics here are ‘The History of Fountain Pens’, ‘How Fountain Pens work’, ‘Tips for choosing the right fountain pen’ and so on.
Include a link to your website in the article content and submit it to article directories, totally free of charge. You can post this kind of content both automatically or manually in the form of hundreds of thousands of entries. What could could you actually learn from an article marketing course? Not everything included in such forms of training is valuable, as in lots of cases you discover the article marketing course to be a waste of time and money. For example you may find out how to organize information to make it appealing to the web visitor. Yet, writing skills can hardly be developed with a basic article marketing course.
Some smart and gifted people have actually turned writing into a profession, servicing lots of publishers with fresh content. In case you don’t find all you need in an article marketing course you can try the other alternative. Contact a business specialized in article writing and content submission to article directories, and you can solve the problem easily and with minimum costs.
In fact, very few web developers have actually completed their training with an article marketing course. Most people in this business start as freelancers, writing articles they sell to publishers. In either case, the business owner gains by market exposure and an increase in sales.

PPC Advertising Things You Should Know
January 23, 2010 by lifestyl

Prior launching the promotion of a website thru a pay per click search engine, it is vital to take into consideration one or two critical steps. Listening to the next issues won’t only improve one’s conversion rate, but it will also minimize the advertiser’s’s chances of spending one’s budget as a consequence of fraudulent clicking. There is a professional PPC software that makes the process easy: PPC Loophole
1.Title and description:
When choosing the title and outline for one’s advertisement, you must take special care to include descriptive, attention grabbing information about PPC advertiser ’s service or product. For instance, if you are pushing an internet casino directory, then one may consider using a factual title like ‘Online Casino’ as opposed to the title ‘Gambling’ which is too broad and general. An example of a specific and attention grabbing outline might be ‘Win ,200+ in free casino bonuses’ vs a broad outline like ‘Directory of net casinos’. Which title and outline would you be more likely to click on? ‘Online Casinos : list of net casinos’ or ‘Online Casinos : Get +1,000 $ in free casino bonuses’?
2.Keywords
Select relevant keywords that precisely characterize the service or product that you’re pushing. Given adequate time and skills, a marketer can literally come up with a ton of related keywords for any theme. employing a huge list of keywords isn’t advised for the reason that usually only a small fragment of these keywords are topical while the overwhelming preponderance of the keywords are not, and would only serve to waste the advertiser’s budget. For instance, while the following keywords may precisely describe an internet casino index ‘online casino, online casinos, online casino directory’, other keywords like ‘gambling, poker chips, Las Vegas’ are too general, too vague and in most situations irrelevant to the topic of interest.
3.Search Results Positions
The first set of positions in search engine results will typically entice the most amount of traffic. Supposing this has benefits for the one person whose results emerge in the 1st set of search leads to Google, Yahoo, Bing and other free search engines, it may not be the case for folks whose search results emerge in the top positions of PPC search website results. Most PPC search engines have affiliate programs which offer webmasters incentives to push them, and the more people an affiliate web master can get to click the paid lists, the extra cash he/she earns. While many pay-per-click search engines have anti-fraud mechanisms in place to minimize the risk of an advertiser misspending his/her budget as a result of fraudulent clicking, some pay-per-click search engines may not. Because of this, it is not without exception advisable to bid for the top 3 search result positions of a PPC search engine only if the pay per click search website has a particularly efficient anti-fraud program to defend the PPC marketer from fraudulent activity.
4.Digging into the pay per click search engine:
Prior to creating an account with any pay per click search website, it is advisable to read as many reviews about the search engine as possible. Most particularly, read about the experiences of people who have used it before. Does it have good purchaser service? What anti-fraud program does it employ? What is it’s Alexa.com rank? Who else is advertising on it? Are there any super affiliates advertising on it? How do the bid amounts of the PPC search engine set side by side to the bid amounts of other pay-per-click search engnes? These will usually give you an idea of whether to use it or not.
5.Monitoring Sales:
Depending on the product or service being pushed, there are many paths to follow the outcome of an advertising campaign. If you’re the webmaster of a selected website which has it’s own affiliate marketing programme, then you may need to consider setting up a completely unique affiliate account for every PPC search engine that you make a decision to use. For instance, you’ll set up an affiliate account for PPC search website xyz and call the affiliate account xyz. Then you can pursue the effectiveness of search website xyz by monitoring the effectiveness of affiliate account xyz. Some affiliate marketing programs permit advertisers to set up unique advertising campaigns with unique linking codes, destination pages, for example. These are also excellent for monitoring the efficiency of pay per click search engines.
Recording Traffic:
One method of keeping track of the traffic received from PPC search engines would be to allocate a singular entry point for each PPC search engine and to monitor the statistics of that entry point. A different method of tracking the traffic received from PPC search engines could be to add the tag ?Name-of-PPC-search-Engine at the end of the url being promoted on the pay-per-click search engine. This would serve to inform the advertiser as to which pay-per-click search website sent a selected visitor. The best way to observe the traffic received from a PPC search site is to add an thorough statistical tracker to a domain to monitor exactly where the traffic is coming from. It is very important to keep a close eye on where your traffic is coming from because if there’s any fraudulent activity going on, you’d want to stop it before your advertising funds expire. As an example, if a PPC search engine affiliate has posted a link back to your service/product with misleading words in order to encourage his visitors to click on your listing, then you’d need to know about it before your advertising budget is exhausted due to fraudulent clicking.
6.Keep track of Bids:
It is very important to watch the bids for the keywords chosen on a regular basis. Bid amounts continually modify as advertising accounts get closed and new advertising accounts surge, etc. For example, if you’re paying $0.24 per click to be in the third position of the search results for a selected keyword, but position number 4 is only bidding $0.04 per click, then you’re wasting $0.20 per click as you would only need to bid $0.05 per click to be in the 3rd position of the search results.

I don’t know if every online marketer is similar to me. “I wish I had known then what I know now,” I frequently lament. The “then,” of course, is when I first ventured into the Internet business arena. I could easily fill a large book with important things that I didn’t know how to do but that I tried, anyway. It’s unbelievable how many tasks that had consumed hours of my precious time had to be redone, once I overcame my ignorance bit by bit.
Periodically I try to share one of those bits of wisdom that have in time come my way. I identify one or two simple realities of the online business world about which I had been ignorant and that cost me a lot of money, a lot of wasted energy or, usually, both. I hope you find these useful.
Here is today’s life altering advice: Every page on a website is a landing page.
I actually believed that every prospective customer who came to my site would first come to my home page. They would all digest the valuable content there and progress through my site in an orderly fashion, like third graders marching to music class.
If I had been wise enough to engage a professional to explain to me how web users actually find my website and how they act once they get there, my websites wouldn’t have looked the way they did those early years. They may not have been as pretty, but they might have produced a respectable income. I needed to either contract with an outside expert, take much more time to learn before acting or had someone with Internet marketing experience design a web site for me that could have met my expectations much sooner.
My business would have reached a decent level of success much sooner if I had known these things:
* Understand that search engines do not view the Internet as a collection of websites; instead they see a collection of individual pages
* Recognize that each page on a web site should be created with the goal of achieving the ultimate purpose of the site (obtaining the desired action on the part of the visitor)
* Track real human beings to see how they move through my website, which is often very different from the way that I expected that they would
* (And this one is most directly related to the tip…)Know that collectively, for most business sites, the “inside” pages of a site receive more traffic than the home page
* Recognize that an aesthetically pleasing page is not the same as a productive page
* We should all “bite the bullet” and spend some money wisely in the early stages of our business development, because that will lead to greater income sooner than if we behave as the iconic Mr. Scrooge
I actually love the process of designing the architecture of business websites, now that I actually understand it, so I probably would still not do what I recommend to you: Hire a professional Internet marketer to build yours. But, when I build my first site, I needed to learn so much more before I moved on to the fun part–fun part for me, at least. Meanwhile, there were plenty of other tasks that I could have had done professionally to allow me more time for my learning.

Producing your own product and selling them to clients is definitely one way to approach the marketing business. However, this does require a lot of investment, not only in terms of money, but also your time and effort. There are many pieces to the puzzle in creating your financial future online, and it is impossible without some form of internet marketing guide. If you want to earn money without the normal internet marketing business procedures then perhaps the choice of affiliate marketing is for you.
Affiliate marketing is a joint venture between a product or service merchant and a salesman or marketer. The merchant does all the work and the marketer takes charge of marketing and promotion. Both parties make money with every sale that is made.
This system is beneficial to the merchant as they do not need to spend as much time on marketing or promoting their product as they can leave that side of their business to their army of affiliates. The marketers have an unlimited earning potential, depending how well they market and promote a product.
Earning Commissions From Affiliate Sales
Affiliate marketers get paid with every sale or referral that results from their site. When an affiliate registers with a program, they are usually assigned a unique link that allows the merchant to track where the sales are coming from. The sales commissions are then computed periodically and sent to the marketer via a predetermined mode of payment.
Deciding on the Affiliate Product
There are unlimited amounts of products and services to market, and your choice will play a large part in determining your earning potential. It is advisable to select a product or service that offers a reasonable percentage or sales commission for your efforts and one that you are also interested in.
It would also help to know a thing or two about your chosen product so you can easily answer any questions that your target customers may have. An authoritative and well-informed marketer will certainly attract more clients. Also, considerable knowledge about the products will enable you to create more credible ads and your affiliate product reviews.
Most merchants will actually give you a bunch of marketing literature that you can use, and it would be to your advantage if you really go through these materials before even starting to promote the products. A manufacturer’s inability or refusal to do this reflects poorly on his company and you should seriously consider moving to a different merchant.
There are a lot of companies that offer 50% or even more on direct sales commissions. Companies that offer multi-level affiliate programs are among the most popular and most successful as well. Many companies do not have personal requirements for their marketers, therfore there is no need for them to select affiliates.
