Online business ideas become more and more appealing these days.

Online business ideas have brought career control and lots of rewards to people who took interest in Internet opportunities. Most of the online jobs gravitate around freelance writing, website design, affiliate promotions, sales and even surveys. Thus, some people make money from writing e-books, know-hows and e-guides they afterwards promote online, others develop a personal product or provide consultancy in various activity sectors and last but not least some people make a living from moderating forums.

Online business ideas become more and more appealing with the deepening of the world financial crisis. With the perspective of thousands of jobs being reduced, it is only natural that people will focus on home-based opportunities that can help the entire family escape the risk from corporate working. Start working on the online business ideas right away; there are a lot of unexpected things ahead of us, and no one knows what will happen next. Some modifications have appeared on the Internet too with Google labeling lots of sites as spammy and discarding them.

According to this new policy put into practice by search engines, more recent sites lose in favor of older ones. Statistics actually point out that nine out of ten sites displayed on the first search engines pages are sites with older activities online. You can check the history of a web page by following the record domain data. Nevertheless, getting discouraged is not the point here, what specialists stress out is the fact that age could affect the evolution of the online business ideas into profit making machines.

Although sometimes it is easier to see the bad parts, the good news is that the cost for some services required for online business ideas are getting lower. The creation of a web site requires web hosting and domain registration, well these will be available for much lower fees. Moreover, the tendency with new online business ideas is to create blogs rather than large sites since they are more specialized in content and thus to the liking of search engines.

3 out of 5 stars It’s ok. February 21, 2009

This product is ok. It’s relatively simple to operate, but does not come with an instruction book so you have to go to the trouble of finding a 1-800 number and then calling it when you can’t do what you want to do.
It also can only be charged by plugging it into the computer, which has to be active for it to charge. I don’t know if an electric cord can be purchased separatley or not.
It seems to like certain songs and want to play them over and over. I haven’t figured out why or how to stop that yet either.

5 out of 5 stars Terrific Docking Station from Yamaha February 17, 2009
crgillum (Virginia, USA)
I saved 50% by purchasing this through Amazon!! This Yahmaha Docking Station performs as advertised with my Yamaha Surround Sound Receiver. Terrific way to integrate my IPOD Nano with the rest of my music library and can control the IPOD throught the Yahmaha remote with the same IPOD display projected on my TV. Highly recommended, especially at this price you can’t beat it even with a 3rd party solution that doesn’t completely integrate with the Yahmaha receiver!!

Ozoner (Murfreesboro, TN USA)
Our Yamaha iPod dock has brought beautiful music into our life, through our new surround-sound home theater system. We’re supposed to be able to see the menu for the iPod on the TV screen, but haven’t figured that out yet. The dock works great and the sound is fantastic.

Brian S. Lohstroh (San Diego, CA United States)
I am using an IPOD touch (2G), with a Yamaha HTR 6040.

If you need to sync (with your computer), just use the cable supplied with your IPOD. If you need to charge/rock out, this dock is the way to go. The receiver’s on-screen menu is a nice option (if not slightly ugly on your TV), which allows you to use the stereo remote to change songs/playlists. Sound quality is great (especially when using the 5 channel enhancer on the 6040). Turn it up!

This is an excellent product, simple plug and play into my Yamaha YAS-71 Sound Bar. So far no issues, received the product in a couple days as ordered and for a competitive price. Thanks Amazon.

Apple iPod shuffle 2 GB Silver (2nd Generation)

apple-ipod-shuffle-2-gb-silver-2nd-generationEditorial Reviews:

Product Description
Using either witchcraft, fairy dust or highly gifted engineers (we’re not sure which), Apple has created an iPod Shuffle of an almost impossibly small size. Only slightly bigger than a U.S. quarter, this teensy-weensy device packs 2GB of Storage space. Enough for up to 480 of your favorite songs! Apple also attached a clip to the back of the Shuffle, so you can wear it anywhere for skip-free Music playback. Perfect for working out or just walking down the street. Unit Dimensions – 1.62 x 1.07 x 0.41 (including clip) Unit Weight – 0.55 oz. Color – Silver

Amazon.com Product Description
.caption { font-family: Verdana, Helvetica neue, Arial, serif; font-size: 10px; font-weight: bold; font-style: italic; } ul.indent { list-style: inside disc; text-indent: 20px; } The 2 GB iPod shuffle lets you wear up to 500 songs on your sleeve. Or your lapel. Or your belt. And now it’s available in your choice of remixed colors. Clip on iPod shuffle and wear it as a badge of musical devotion.Controls
iPod shuffle pays respect to its bigger siblings with a circular control pad that puts the “go” in ergonomic. Click the center button to play and pause. Click the outer buttons to move back, skip forward, and adjust volume.

Pop the iPod shuffle into the included dock and sync with iTunes. View iPod shuffle dimensions.

The shuffle switch lets you mix up the iPod contents, or play playlists in the order you want. View larger.

Clip
Thanks to a built-in clip, iPod shuffle goes with anything. Clip it to your sleeve, lapel, coin pocket. No matter where you wear it, iPod shuffle speaks volumes about your style.Shuffle switch
Embrace your inner rebel: Flip the shuffle switch to mix up iPod shuffle’s contents. Flip it again to play your handpicked playlists and albums in the order you synced them from iTunes.

Battery indicator
Green means go, amber means you’re low, and red means you’ve almost hit zero. But with up to 12 hours of battery life, the iPod shuffle may keep rocking even longer than you do.

Headphone jack
The headphone jack does double-duty as a dock connector. Flip iPod shuffle upside-down and drop it into the included dock. Connect the dock to your Mac or PC for a quick sync and charge. Away from your computer? Charge on the go with the optional Apple USB power adapter.

4 out of 5 stars A Small Dose of Awesomeness February 19, 2009

The ipod shuffle is great! Granted, it’s limited in it’s features. But, I find that to be part of it’s beauty. It’s perfect for a subway commute, jogging session, or time at the gym. The fact that there’s no screen to tell what song is coming next is kind of nice once you get used to it. It keeps that element of surprise going and is less distracting. I’d recommend this to people who want to casually listen to music, while going about their day.

I love the shuffle. I’ve even dropped in water and it still kept working. It’s light weight, easy to use, and the battery life is AMAZING! It’s an A+ Apple product.

I’m don’t use the Shuffle like most. I don’t use iTunes. Instead I use iShuffle.exe to sync the playlist. This gives me more flexibility and ease of use. I prefer Amazon MP3 downloads. I also use Juice to download podcasts. Then use a script to copy over files every day.

4 out of 5 stars finally i made a good mp3 choice February 18, 2009
NICK (Brownsville, TX USA)
I have been skeptical of apple’s mp3 players from the start and vowed to not purchase one. I had a philips go gear 8 gb first, which worked alright and then i purchased a 80 gb microsoft zune, which i promptly returned to the store because what i thought was an upgrade was actually an inferior product to the philips. So i finally caved and bought an ipod. I could not have been happier with this purchase. The apple itunes store is so user-friendly that it makes the ipod that much better. And the clip attached is great for running or walking. The ear plugs are junk compared to a good company (why they get 4 out of 5 stars), but they do the job for now. It was a pain to transfer all the music files to itunes, and i had to do a lot of extra work searching for, cutting, and pasting album art; but now that it is done i do not regret it. I also purchased a 32gb ipod touch and am very pleased with that product as well. I took a chance on apple and they did not disappoint (unlike some companies: i.e. microsoft). Now I realize why apple has such a strong hold on the market; they have put out a great product with strong support and a long lifetime.

5 out of 5 stars Unexpected Needle in a Haystack February 16, 2009
SyunFung
At first, there a few things that I didn’t like about the iPod shuffle (prior to buying, of course).
1) There isn’t a screen, making it difficult for me to change to a song I happen to like at a certain time
2) It was too small in my opinion, both physically and as far as memory was concerned. I was used to my 40GB 3rd Gen Classic, so the thought of not being able to access all my music at the time I want to was something that only gave me dread.

However, on a whim when I got a bonus and when my roommate who has a shuffle told me how he liked it and that my concerns were unwarranted, I bought this little device. I was still skeptical, but most of my concerns are mostly gone.

Although the device is indeed small as far as memory wise comparatively, it stores more than enough if I listen on a normal basis. Additionally, on the occasion that I am listening while on the car, I don’t want to be distracted by trying to select a song every few minutes (hence why I used to prefer listening to the radio). Being unable to do so is a disadvantage in most cases that I listen to music, but it’s a blessing in disguise.

This device is small, but because of that, it’s not cumbersome at all while exercising, driving, or almost any task. It also comes with a clip by itself, so one can position in most any position he or she desires.

I was also surprised by the battery time. I decided to not charge it until it ran out of batteries and kept it on from the instant I had it fully charged. It ran for a good two days, probably because of the lack of switching tracks and the lack of a backlit screen. I don’t expect this battery life to last that long, since iPods are notorious for dying rechargeable batteries (but then again, all rechargeable batteries lose charge after every recharge). Apple products are perhaps a little overpriced at times, but for what it’s worth, the iPod Shuffle is well worth the money in terms of quality, time, and its simplicity.

5 out of 5 stars Ipod Shuffle February 14, 2009
It’s smaller than it looks, but contains a lot of songs. It works great. But I wish I had spent my Christmas money on the MP4 Touch or Ipod Touch. That looks way cooler.
