If you have any technological aptitude, skip this book. It contains very little useful information, and you can find it all for free on the internets anyway. For example, looking up a word “the easy way” involves opening up the search function and typing it in. Then, when the results page comes up, you scroll down to “Dictionary” or “Wikipedia”. Wow, what a terribly obvious thing to do.

About an hour after I got my kindle, I was still fumbling around trying to find FREE books. I read the directions that came with the Kindle, and there was not much information. Luckily I came upon the Cookbook and an hour later I was a kindle expert! For all the griping some people do regarding the Kindle’s limitations, it far exceeded my expectations. Being able to view weather, news and even send and receive gmail was a nice surprise. I am madly in love with my Kindle and The Cookbook played a big role in the relationship.

5 out of 5 stars Great tool and great support for those of us who are a little slow when it comes to the Kindle. January 11, 2009

The Kindle Cookbook: How To Do Everything the Manual Doesn’t Tell You

First, let me thank you for such a fast reply!

I should explain that I am a little dense regarding this technology, but when I saw that your reply talked about a recipe I thought this must be spam. It soon dawned on me that I was getting a reply for which I had sent in a question re: the Kindle Cookbook . Recipe – cookbook.Duh!

Your instructions were crystal clear and it worked like a charm. Thank you for the great book and for your fast reply.

The book is well worth the price. It is the 3rd manual I have referred to and it is the best by far.

Sincerely,

R L
