This is my first Mac computer as well, after many years of using Windows PC at home and at work. I’m very impressed with both Macbook and OS X. Macbook, performance is awesome with just 1g of ram memory.
From the first time Mac user, I’m very pleased with Apple hardware and software, it just works. And I’m impressed with how it all works together.
As for this specific version of the macbook, I have found no problems at all, works beautifully as advertised. The only thing I found is that mabook’s screen needs to be calibrated or adjusted. Don’t settle for default screen profile, pictures will appear washed out. Calibrate screens settings; you should be able to get it pretty close to what it should be with just what macbook has in OS X.
I also recommend buying this model, since it has a bigger harddrive, its worth it. This laptop is very fast and reliable!

This is a great laptop. First, let me say, I’m a software developer, so I’m very particular about my computers. I was in the market for a new laptop. After a lot of shopping around, I went with a laptop from HP for around $700. It was my first PC with Vista, and it was frustratingly slow. Here’s an example… Put your laptop into sleep mode. Come out of sleep mode, and how long does it take to connect to your WiFi network? The HP laptop would take about 45 seconds while the macbook takes less than 5 seconds. It’s a small detail, but it’s the tip of the iceberg.
So, after I purchased my HP laptop, my wife bought a macbook. I was so impressed, I took mine back and got my own macbook. The battery is great. I haven’t timed it yet, but it’s easily over three hours. The LCD is great. You don’t get all that bloatware that comes with a new PC (like antivirus software that you can’t seem to delete) that fills up your new hard disk. And, there’s no need to even worry about antivirus software since 99.9% of viruses are designed for Windows.
As for performance, these macbooks are plenty zippy. And, yes dual core does make a difference. If you like to multitask (browse the web while playing mp3 music), then you’ll notice the difference. The user interface is more responsive during heavy loading. Just for fun, I took a program I wrote for work and ran it on my new macbook. (I won’t bore you with the details of what it does, but it’s CPU intensive.) On the HP laptop, the program took about 13 minutes to run. On the macbook, it took 3 min, 30 seconds. Just for fun, I ran the same program on a fully loaded Dell 820 ($3000), and it finished in about 3 minutes. So, I’m very pleased with the performance of this macbook.
And, there are great open source (free) applications you can get for Mac OS X now. So, I quickly installed Firefox, Thunderbird (email), NeoOffice (MS Office replacement), Chicken of the Sea (VNC client), XAMPP (Apache/PHP/MySQL), Transmission (BitTorrent), Burn (CD/DVD burner), and Eclipse (Java development).
The only way they could improve this macbook would be to bundle the DVD writer in the entry-level model instead of a combo drive (CD writer, DVD reader). It’s not an issue with me since I have many other DVD writers on my LAN, but others may want to purchase the next model up that comes with the DVD writer.
If it’s been two years, this one is worth the plunge. July 24, 2007

I ordered my last small-screen iBook from Amazon just two summers ago. As usual, my heavy touch started shorting out the keyboard, and I couldn’t afford several weeks of down time. Factor in the wait, the cost of repairs, and the improvements, and this 13″ MacBook from Amazon seemed the best way to go.
It’s about a hundred bucks more than the prior edition but worth it. The screen is wider, sharper and brighter (though I had no complaints with the predecessor). The speed of unloading internet pages is noticeably faster, a time-saver. The magnetically attached power cord should save the user the cost of an Apple adapter or two (about $80 each time you snap the thin wire). The keyboard area is larger, which is nice, though the different feel of the tracking area and right thumb-click (little play–it barely seems to go down) takes a bit of getting used to.
I didn’t need a built-in camera or remote control, but what can you do. At least I was able to avoid the Superdrive (haven’t found much use for DVD burning) and all the extras (and sales tax) they push if you buy from Apple Store. This machine doesn’t require any additional memory or RAM, unless you’re a heavy duty movie editor/audio engineer. It’s a one-click purchase. I even took a pass on Apple’s current iPod incentive (I still buy CDs, mostly from Amazon).
Even as I type this review, I’m conscious that the keyboard has a tighter feel and is quieter than the previous model. It also gets around in the often cumbersome and sluggish MS Word more quickly than the comparable machine of only two years ago. A great little work horse, and the transfer of information from your old computer has never been easier (make sure you have a firewire cable handy).

Toshiba Satellite 14 inch laptop October 4, 2009

This laptop is very good for it’s price, i looked every where to find a better laptop but couldn’t. There are only two things i don’t like about this laptop-
1) There is no HDMI output, i don’t understand why any laptop doesn’t have that feature.
2) The speakers are pretty bad for a laptop, looks like Toshiba found something to cut costs with. The best idea would be to buy some external speakers.
Everything else is great, the processor and memory is great. I particularly like the size and it’s look. The key board is set up great, there no useless keys on this laptop.

I set this up with Ubuntu 64-bit and it works like a charm. It didn’t have any silly driver issues (as I did with my previous (HP) laptop. It’s solid, quiet and doesn’t have the myriad of LED’s glaring at you that seem to be so popular on other brands (HP). The keyboard has a good feel and spacing and clear (simple, legible). The touchpad buttons are a bit clicky but I only ever use an external mouse anyway.
I play World of Warcraft on it through wine over the wireless network and it works beautifully. Exactly what I wanted !

I’m not a laptop expert, and only ask for reasonable performance, reliability and durability. This Satellite, so far, has beat my Dell, and HP hands down. I have to wait another year or so to compare it to my Acer, which has been my favorite up to this point. I’m not a power user, so there may be better Machines for that, but for the everyday use of a older “baby boomer” I think it’s great.

The Toshiba L515-S4925 is part of Toshiba’s main consumer line: the L500 series of laptops. This version is the thin-and-light entry. It’s a very good laptop for someone who values good video quality (where this model excels) above battery life (where it lags behind).
A good friend bought this model and had me come over to uninstall the junk software (it was no worse than the typical bloatware found on retail notebook computers) and get it setup on his home network. Overall I liked this model but it has rather strong pluses and minuses. This is a pretty competitive market segment and I think Toshiba took a risk that will appeal to the right buyer: cut back on some less valued features and deliver a very high quality display. It’s aimed pretty squarely and HP’s very popular DV4 line of 14″ laptops and I think it competes well on most levels and (on Amazon at least) is priced about $150 less (depending on the exact DV4 model you compare it against).
Here a quick break down of the features:
CPU: Intel Pentium T4200 2.1 GHz (my friend’s came with the T4300 which is just slightly better). This is a decent dual core CPU for home use and it’s pretty typical for laptops in this price range. It’s not for anyone serious about gaming but it will run typical home apps and “light” games with no troubles. Two cores mean your system won’t slow to a crawl just because your anti-virus kicks in. While not as powerful at the Core2 line it’s still a good CPU for home users.
RAM: 4 GB 800 MHz RAM. This is becoming the new norm and it’s nice because this is lot of memory and provide some future proofing. This is plenty for home use.
HDD: 320 GB 5200 RPM. This is more than most home users will need (few exceed 100GB) and the speed is what I recommend for home users because it has a much lower failure rate than faster drives (and it’s plenty fast enough for home use).
Graphics chip: Intel 4500HD. This is also pretty typical of notebooks in this price range. It’s great for home use (including movie playback) and can run any non-3D game just fine. Older 3D games will run great too. Most new 3D games will run at dramatically reduced settings or not run at all.
Display: 14″ 1366×768 resolution (natively supports 720P video playback). This is a very nice display and I don’t know of any other laptop in this price range with a screen this nice. It’s is much better than the display you will get on the HP DV4-1433 which only comes in at 1280 x 800. It’s bright, has brilliant colors and good blacks. Toshiba clearly thought about the most important part of the laptop for most users and stepped it up a notch from the competition. Like most home systems it’s glossy which is great indoors but can be hard to read outdoors.
DVD-RW: Has a nice combo DVD-RW drive, which means you can read and write to CD and DVD media. It also has “Labelflash” which lets you use the DVD laser to “burn” blue imagery onto special media that supports it. It’s not great looking but it’s easier than printing, pealing, and installing labels and looks a lot better than a label written on with a sharpie. I can be slow (up to 20 min for a complex image).
Battery: 6 cell 3700mAh. Here is one of the places Toshiba trimmed money back off. This is a fairly low end 6 cell and I wouldn’t expect much more than 2.5 hours of real battery life (you’ll get more keeping the screen dim and turning off the wireless but who does that?). A more typical 6 cell batter will come in at 4400mAh and high-end 6 cells will deliver over 5400mAh. For most home users this is fine, they tend to plug in wherever they go. Outside the home this could get old fast.
Ports: Comes with the typical port assortment (USB, eSata, RJ-45 Lan, RJ-11 modem, VGA) except for one important one – DVI. The lack of a DVI (or HDMI) port means you will get degraded video when outputting to an external LCD monitor (because instead of a direct digital connection the video has be converted to analog sent out from the laptop and re-converted to digital by the monitor). As a result I would not recommend this model to anyone who wants to hook it up to an external display. I should not that some other L500 models do have HDMI ports
Control layout: I found the control layout to be good but not earth shattering. The picture on Amazon doesn’t show the front very well so let me describe it in detail: There are lights for the wireless, AC, on/off, battery, HDD activity and the media adapter. The memory card reader is also in the front but it only handle the smaller media like SD cards to make certain your digital camera media is supported (for example no compact flash support). Here’s the list: Secure Digital, Secure Digital High Capacity, Mini SD Card, Micro SD Card, Memory Stick, Memory Stick PRO. The volume control is also here (which is a little odd because the other controls are on the keyboard up by the display). On the sides are the usual USB, VGA, LAN, etc… Above the keyboard you will find the media controls, the on/off switch, and above the screen is the usual webcam and microphone.
Wireless: Supports older wireless specs “B” and “G” along with the newer “N” standard. You shouldn’t have trouble connecting to wireless networks at home or traveling. This model does not support Blue Tooth.
Weight: At 5.02 lbs this feels pretty light and is a typical weight for 14″ laptops.
Build quality: This one is always a little subjective but I found the build quality to be very good if a little boring. It’s well made but there’s not much trim or flash to it. There’s a good side to boring: less stuff to break or scratch, and it lets Toshiba get that great display in this price range.
For the price anyone looking for a smaller and lighter laptop with a great display should be very happy here. As mentioned before serious gamers, travelers, and people planning on using an external display will probably want to keep shopping.
The Rising Popularity of Day Trading: How to be a Financial Cowboy : Part 3
April 14, 2009 by Lifestyle Editor
Penny Stocks Can Equal Big Dollars for the Day Trader
Day trading is risky, that point cannot be made often enough. There is the possibility of not only doubling up your risk but your profitability as well. Trading penny stocks can be satisfying, and because the price per share is lower than more traditional or established stocks, there can be a bigger buys in. Penny stocks are those stocks that have a price per share that is less than a SEC or market defined amount, usually a small market cap and traded only on certain markets. Penny stocks are very unpredictable, but can be highly profitable if you choose the right one. Day traders that seem to have that inherent sixth sense of what stocks are moving in what direction can make huge profits from trading penny stocks. Blocks of these shares can be profitable enough to fund other, bigger buy ins for more established company stocks, but not always. In fact, with penny stocks, the loss cap has to be adhered to more strictly because they are so volatile.
Penny stocks are good for the day-trader, as the more traditional traders often overlook them. In fact, many financial professionals will refuse to trade a penny stock because of the work entailed in tracking them, and because they feel they may be beneath them. Because of the floating definition of what a penny stock is, some smaller, but still very solvent company’s stocks will go largely untouched. Some pros will define a penny stock by market cap alone, which makes some of the strongest performing, but still growing companies prime for investment. This is one place where careful monitoring of a stock or a company’s progress or lack thereof will put you at a huge advantage over other traders. Think about it, a small company that is growing in leaps and bounds is probably flying under the radar of most financial firms as they watch the action involving the larger corporations.
That small company offers its stocks at a bargain basement price, and you, the savvy day trader buys as much as possible in one trading day. The next day, that same company becomes famous because of a news report, and suddenly your so-called penny stock trade has made you a huge profit. On the down side, that scenario could go in the direct other direction. You buy up a large block of stock from this small company and then the next day you wake up to find that the entire company has closed because of some bad luck or simply because of the economy. You have now lost every cent you put into those shares of that company.
When dealing with these penny stocks, the day trader must be aware that the smaller the market cap usually equals a small company. Unfortunately, it also means the smaller the company, the larger the risk of total business failure, however being able to buy blocks of an unproven company and watch it grow and thrive can be more than profitable, it can be very rewarding. In some small part, you can walk away feeling that you helped that company to survive, and from an investment standpoint, you might have.
Even Shorter Than Short Term: Intraday Trading
Day trading is fast action, of that there should be no doubt, but sometimes that action gets to be even faster. Intraday trading is even faster. These trades are done within the same day frame- often several times before the end of the business day. Intraday trading can see the same stocks being bought, sold and re-bought by a single day trader all within the day’s open trading. There are many reasons that intraday trading occurs, but it comes down to the market itself. If the market is not moving well, there might be a need to buy and sell the same block of stocks to possibly get things going again, or to keep from holding onto bad trades.
Intraday trading can lead to issues however, because it changes the trade account- and can lead to SEC regulation violations if the trader is not careful. This type of trading can keep a trader from being caught on the bad side of a trade, and still allow him to meet his trade equity account minimum. Because of the risks that are involved, intraday trading requires vigilant stock monitoring, regulation education, and a well planned, and strictly adhered to, stop loss plan. Knowing how to exit gracefully is almost as important as knowing how to get into the market in the first place.
Using Cash to Buy Currency to Make Cash
The day trader may also want to dabble in the currency trading market, known as Forex. Unfamiliar with the term? Don’t be embarrassed, this largest of the financial markets has remained largely un-traded by the smaller, “retail” traders, including the day traders. Currency trading has gained popularity in recent years, largely because the Internet has not only opened the market up, but made it faster to trade on as well.
The Forex market is no different from any other market in that you absolutely need to educate yourself before you begin. Know the terms and the jargon. Know what rules or obligations exist that you must follow. And, as always, know your own limits.
The day trader may like the currency trading market for one relaxed rule: inside information is not against the rules in this market. If you know something about a country’s economy, whether it has become common knowledge or not, you can use it to make the most beneficial trade for yourself. Of course, not only does this mean that you can use this information, so can all the other traders.
The Forex market is huge- to the tune of two trillion, US dollars per day. That size alone makes this a fast moving, and potentially hugely profitable enterprise. But, what exactly does a trader buy or sell when dealing on the Forex market? Basically, contracts are what are bought or sold- everything comes down to some computer entries and nothing more.
One last thing to keep in mind with the Forex market: the currencies that are traded are always traded in pairs. You must know the meaning of long and short when relating to these pairs and how to buy and sell your pairs at the maximum profit.
Day Trading as a Career, The Amount You Could Make (If you are Good)
So far, this guide has covered the basics of day trading and the risks that are involved. While it was mentioned that great profits could be made, there is even more potential money for the savvy and careful trader. A sample trade could look like this:
At the start of business, Danny Daytrade selects 100 shares of Youbetcha Inc. He knows from watching the trends that Youbetcha is about to make a big move upward, and he is right, the stock gains at least a 1/2 point by noon of that day. As a day trader, Danny wants to walk away with profit by close of business, so he sells off this upward moving stock and splits up the profits from the sale. Part of his profits goes into his day trader account to make sure that he will meet his minimum equity; the other part goes back into investing. He has had his eye on another stock that is set to make a nice upswing as well. Danny is successful, because he is careful and because he knows how to read the stock signs.
If the amount of profit that Danny Daytrade makes for this trade is $100 (obviously an amount simply for illustration) he would most likely use half as account cover capital, and half as re investment. Of course, no one in the day trading game is doing any investing with $50; again, this figure is simply for illustration. If he makes five similar trades for the business days, with equally similar results, he will have made $500 of profit. Keeping with that theme, trading five days a week would net Danny $2500 of profit per week. (Commissions, overhead costs and other business expenses, realistically bringing the amount down to $2000 or less would reduce this figure.) This is still a nice bit of profit, considering that this is only one stock’s trade performance. Danny Daytrader probably handles quite a few more trades than that in a day’s time.
Considering that not every trade will make a profit, let’s say that Danny handles ten stock trades per day, with the same profit margin as above. ($100) On the safe side, we will give Danny a win percentage of say, 30%, which means that for his ten trades, he sees that profitability factor on three of them ($300). Which will bring him to $1500 for the week, less the commissions and other expenses as mentioned above. Realistically, Danny can see a profit of slightly less than $1000. But, Danny is aggressive, so that amount will not satisfy him. He will hit the charts and study until he finds the right stocks that are about to trend upward. He will work until he gets his win percentage up near fifty percent or even higher.
The Wind-up, The Pitch, the Conclusion
First off, there is no pitch. There is only the winding up of this guide, trust me, there is nothing being sold here.
This guide covered the rise of the popularity of day trading, largely in part because of the computer and the Internet. With the click of a mouse, the entire world can come speeding down a wire (or without a wire) into your home. At the blink of an eye, you can buy a pair of shoes, Google a date, map out directions to your Aunt Susie’s, or you can buy or trade a block of stocks. No matter what time of day or night, no matter what you are wearing- you can choose a stock, check it’s action and put in an order to buy it. Trading was once the realm of the ultra connected, and the very wealthy, but those days and the Market have changed. Thankfully.
Of course, if you are looking to buy a pair of shoes, or even Googling a date, you really have to have some basic information to start with. The stock market is no different in that aspect. You know that if you are looking for athletic shoes, you have to go to the right company’s website to look at them. It is the same when buying stocks or other financial products and services. You have to know what kind of trading you want to be involved with. Do you want to buy traditional stocks in a certain type of market? Do you want to be more aggressive and trade blocks of penny stocks? There are many choices that must be made before you begin investing.
We covered the amounts that could be expected as investment and other expenses that need to be covered before you can begin a career as a day trader. These expenses can include a computer upgrade, computer software and then the initial investment amount. According to the day trading regulations, there is a minimum equity amount ($25,000) that you must meet and continue to meet to keep your day trader account open.
Day trading can be hugely risky for a number of reasons. First off, the movement of the day trader is rapid-which does not leave a lot of time for market research and does not allow time to monitor for trends that might be forming. Careless trading can lead to a fall below the minimum account trade equity, which in turn will lead to a day trading call. Losing too much money will lead to the loss of confidence and may cause a day trader’s career to be at risk as well. Not knowing or going over their loss cap can put a day trader at huge risk for financial ruin.
Along with the risks, there are many rewards to be had as well. Because they are so risky, day trades can net quicker returns than more traditional trading activity that have to be allowed to have time to develop. Day traders may also take a bigger chance on a stock, also with the potential to make large profits.
Day trading and long term trading are not the only option. There is a middle ground between the two extremes, the swing trader. The swing trader may hold a stock’s position for several days, possibly a week before making a move on it, or may ditch it within hours. Swing trading is becoming more popular because it allows the flexibility to let a stock develop if it looks like it is going to, or to sell quickly if it becomes necessary.
Bad money management is just that: bad. If you cannot figure out how to handle the account that you are dealing with, you should not be in this line of work. Day trading is not the most forgiving career choice, and it can realistically only take a few bad trades to completely destroy a financial career. Incompetence and ignorance are no excuse for a failure to understand trading regulations, especially those that have the potential to lead to a SEC violation.
Penny stocks may become the darlings of the day trader. They are perfectly suited for the day trader’s personality, are bargain priced and therefore potentially more profitable. If you can buy a large block of a bargain basement stock, then you could see a large return in the matter of days when that company goes public. Or you lose your entire investment when the unproven company fails. Knowing and weighing the risks involved, penny stocks can still be fairly attractive to the day trader simply because of the relative ease of moving them. What constitutes a penny stock will vary depending on whom you are asking, but it will usually be based on price per share, the market it is traded on and the market cap of the company being traded. Some markets will consider market cap as the main determining factor for whether or not a stock is a penny stock or not, but that is not always reliable.
Along with day trading, there is the even faster moving, intraday trading. Simply put, this is trading that occurs within the same day for the same stock. Intraday trading can be used to stimulate sales of one stock if it has stopped moving at all, or it can pour life into an equally stagnant market.
Finally, there is the Forex market, where the day trader can use his account to move currency contracts between countries. This market has some interesting lingo, as well as some slightly more relaxed rules about certain aspects of trading. There is not an insider trading rule for instance, making it possible to use information that you have learned before anyone else to your own best advantage. The Forex market was once the mainstay for the big players, but has opened up dramatically in recent years, mainly because of the computer.
This guide said it early, and said it often: Know your risks. Know what you can afford to lose before you invest. Count every investment as a potential loss right from the start- and do not invest more than you can bear. Know how to use your profits to reinvest in the trading account as well as other more secure investments. Do not pump all of your money back into the market, especially if all indicators say that it is a bad idea.
Day trading can be rewarding, not only financially, but in other ways as well. Knowing how a stock is going to perform and being right about it can be quite a high. Seeing the signs that a stock is about to take a header and selling that stock, even at a small loss is better than sticking with it and going down with the ship. Educate yourself about the market, and what to expect. Know all of the regulations and keep in the know if new ones are in the works. Monitor your stocks, or watch for alerts if you have stock trading software that does your monitoring for you. And lastly, always, have an exit plan that you can turn to if things get really bad for you. Best of luck, and happy trading.

I’m trying to understand why there are so many low ratings for this software. First of all, I’ve been using Tax Cut software for years (switched over from Turbo Tax which was always more expensive). The software is easy to install, easy to use and very intuitive. I’m not an accountant so I love the step by step interview that gets your taxes done without any pain, if there’s such a thing for filing taxes. As for the installation – what is the problem? This is the LOWEST price I’ve found for online download of this software and lower than ordering the box CD. Installation was a breeze. You do have to install the Amazon game installer software first but the link was right on the page after I ordered and I just followed the instructions from there. I have my software installed and last years taxes loaded all in a matter of minutes. I love ordering from Amazon and have never had a problem with ordering or service.
I had no problems with the download. It was complete in less time than it would have taken me back out of my driveway. Saved gas money, time, and no boxes and plastic for the landfill.
This is the 8th year I have used TaxCut. For $36 I was able to do my fed and state return, which does seem a little higher than last year but still not higher than the other *Tax software. Downloader works fine, both for Amazon and TaxCut. I have seen issues in the past with the TaxCut updates not working through my company proxy server but none this year. If you are CompTIA A+ Certified (blah, blah, blah) and can’t figure it out, maybe you are in the wrong line of work.
I used TaxCut and had NO issues downloading the software and installing. It did take me a minute to figure out where to get the keys so I could file my taxes. You have to come back to Amazon to look for the product keys. It was a pretty straightforward process to file, and since I had a change in employment status I actually tested with another CD I had gotten in the mail from another company, and got the same result with both. Having used both TurboTax and TaxCut, I have to say I prefer the interface and style of questions with TaxCut. And appreciate the e-filing options and notices TaxCut sends. I’ll probably use TaxCut next year as well.
Some minor problems with the download & installation but worth it considering April 15 is around the corner. Most people should be able to download and install this in about 15 to 20 minutes. I used Microsoft Vista Basic OS. Expect to see several error messages on the two (2) separate downloads/installations; One for Amazon’s software downloader and one for the TaxCut08 software w/ bonus software. Take a Deep Breath and DON’T Worry! Amazon’s website CLEARLY walks you through the error messages. Once the compressed TaxCut software is downloaded, it could be tricky finding the installation file. It’s located in the folder C:\Program Files\TaxCut08\Setup. To wrap up, I’m sure installing from a physical CD is EASIER if you already have the CD. But if you don’t, take the extra 15 minutes to save you 2 to 5 days of waiting for it in the mail or paying upwards of $20 more w/ sales taxes & gas to buy it at your local store. |

Eat This Not That February 17, 2009 Marina “The Shopper” The book is easy to read and see.If you are someone who relates to looking at pictures in order to remember what to buy at the supermarket rather than to read; then this is the book for you. I bought one for myself and many for my friends. To your better habits of supermarket shopping for 2009.
Good info February 16, 2009 Laura Szczublewski Bunts (Phoenix, Az) Good information if you are trying to learn about nutrition and trying to lose weight. This is not a diet- many people think it’s a diet- its all about making healthier choices.
Love this! February 15, 2009 Cynthia Carnes What a great resource! This book has certainly changed the way I look at food and changed what I put in my body. It is easy to comprehend and the layout is very organized and makes it easy to read. I highly recommend this to anyone.
Groceries shopping guide February 15, 2009 Bill B. Weinstein (Daytona FL USA) As I have the 2 previous titles of this book I was pleased that there is a guide for grocery shopping too as it help wade through the grocery shelves to buy the best healthy foods and pass at the unhealthy ones. The previous book listed the restaurants, both fast food and sit down and dine and this book came at a time when many people are cutting down on dining out and can help with the balanced diet with flavor at home. the other book was to help teens get the balanced diet on the run.
Buy This Not That February 14, 2009 Shannon E. Walker I bought all three of the books in this series of ‘Eat This Not That’ and love them. They are so informative and applicable. As a health-conscious consumer it has opened my eyes to much more than I thought I already knew. It is a great conversation piece too! My husband and I share some of the information in them with others and they can’t believe it but labels don’t lie. There are some discrepencies between books but regardless the message is the same about making wise choices. http
